Love the new format, like trainee scientists we go careering back in time once again. Also, I would definitely buy an 80est onesie 😆

See, you had to go and tease me with saying you were going to name your favorite B-sides. That would have been great. There are so many good ones in the 80s. Some of U2's best stuff from the late 80s were songs from B-sides, particularly Sweetest Thing from the Where The Streets Have No Name single. Heck, all the B-sides from the Rattle and Hum singles I would argue are better than that album.

The Cure also did lots of great stuff like Babble on the flip side to Fascination Street and Breathe from the Catch single. Their B-sides are so strong that many of them get regular play at their shows.

Maybe nobody did B-sides as great as New Order. 1963 on the B-Side of True Faith and Touched By The Hand Of God on the back of Blue Monday 1988.

But my top one is The Ghost Ship which was the B-side to Robyn Hitchcock's almost-hit Balloon Man. That single was the first thing I ever bought of his, and The Ghost Ship is what turned me into the obsessive Hitchcock-head that has seen him 75+ times and counting.
