I love Gloria Estefan/Miami Sound Machine and there's so much nostalgia here for me (she was my mom's favorite). And I'm not gonna lie, I did a mean shoulder-dance to Conga in the car listening to this episode. But I feel like they're their own sound, and What's on Your Mind is so 80's for me. I'm not going to say it's my new Axel F. just yet, but it's certainly in the running.

I will say it: this is MY "your Axel F" this season!

MSM has a ton of 80s cred socked away in an offshore account. They are irrevocably welded into that decade.

But this Information Society song is transcendent in terms of production and in terms of the objective of this podcast: distilling the sound of a decade into one song.

It will be hard for me to vote against it, that's for sure.

¡Hola pibes! Joe, no te hagas drama, tu español es bastante mejor que el de Gloria (que se pronuncia Glória Estéfan) ... solo hay que practicar un poco el acento. Keith, me quedé con ganas de escucharte decir un par de frases en español. Con respecto a la canción más ochentosa, coincido con ustedes en elegir a "What's on you mind". ¡Esa canción es pura energía!

In my defense, I was exaggerating my American accent because I find people speaking Spanish with massive American accents hilarious. My biggest problems speaking Spanish are that I have the vocabulary of a toddler and I am hopeless with verb tenses.

Verbs in spanish can be tricky, but you can improve your vocabulary by watching Univisión! You guys are welcome to visit Argentina anytime and practice spanish while eating asado, playing fútbol and dancing cuarteto!

I have never been to South America! Argentina does seem spectacular, I need to chat with you offline about the best places to visit, like the Chris de Burgh birthplace! 😂

We should definitely plan a visit to Chris's birthplace! I heard there is a shrine built by all the people that got to get laid thanks to "Lady in Red"!

Love the international downloads! 😂

And I agree--it's a sign to vote for Information Society!

Safe travels homeward!!
