I get them on Ebay if one stops working. The one I have now (my kid has the same model) has lasted quite a long time. I'm not sure what generation player it is, so it could be one of the later models.
“Younger” listener here (mid-40s for context for anyone reading this besides Keith and Joe). I had a Walkman and then a discman, and then I had the cassette tape thing that allowed you to listen to the discman in the car, and then the fm modulator thing for the discman in the car. (That would be my 90est intro: “…ever to blare from the dashboard cassette player, plugged into the discman, skipping like hell from the passenger seat of your Saturn.”) Before all that I also had the Fisher Price record player that dinged when it was time to flip to side B.
I never had the cassette adapter for my Discman... I quantum leapt from cassette player to in-dash disc player. Now I don't even have an item that plays cassettes or CDs!
I also had that FP record player, haven't really had once since!
Hey guys, Taylor beat Stacy Q in the semis and Martika took care of Debbie Gibson, not the other way round! Thank goodness our world leaders provide the necessary calm and good judgment to make up for these screw ups! Any mistake in that area is Elon's fault, as our research staff was decimated by DOGE budget cuts! Our only non-DEI researcher remaining (me) wrote the wrong thing on the show sheet!🫢
